About Nagoya

Nagoya (陷キ讎雁膚陞サ繝サ, stands as the fourth most populous city in Japan, trailing behind Tokyo, Yokohama, and Osaka. Positioned as the capital of Aichi Prefecture, it serves as the primary urban hub within the Nobi plain, one of Honshu's significant plains and a key center for both metropolitan and industrial activities.

Historically, Nagoya flourished as the castle town of the Owari clan, a prominent branch of the ruling Tokugawa family during the Edo Period. However, much of its historical heritage, including numerous architectural landmarks, fell victim to the devastating air raids of 1945. Notably, the headquarters of Toyota Motor Corporation is situated just beyond Nagoya's borders.
